SharePoint Consultant

I am a SharePoint Consultant living in beautiful New Brunswick, Canada. I try to enjoy all the good outdoor things that life has to offer, including Camping, Horseback riding, Canoeing, Hiking, and Rock-Climbing. I graduated at the University of New Brunswick in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, I worked as a developer & analyst at several reputable firms, including SkillSoft, NALD, TSi Auto Solutions Inc, and currently, the SharePoint consulting firm, RapidMind Solutions Inc.

When I’m not coding or developing applications for the web and SharePoint, I enjoy writing & playing traditional & console-based role-playing games (RPG’s).

Back in 2002 I built an online multiplayer RPG based on ASP (www.thekingofspades.com) at one point, the game boasted 20,000 unique players in the database. It is currently undergoing a major overhaul and upgrade into .NET, but as the sole programmer on that project, I try to do that whenever I manage to squeeze in some time from my fast-paced life.

I immigrated to Canada in the early 2000′s, prior to that I lived and grew up in sunny Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates. In Abu Dhabi, and for about 10 years I helped my dad run his Computer sales & training business, I owe it to that lifestyle for making me fall in love with computers, teaching & programming.

I love to talk about & share ideas about life, philosophy & technology, and this is part of the reason why I started this blog, so I hope you enjoy reading my thoughts!
